Solution of six years hence a father's age will bhi three times his son's age and rhree years ago fah was nine times as old as his son. What is the present age of father ?

Present age of Son = a

Present age of Father= b

After 6 years

Son's age = a + 6

Father's age  = 3(a+6)

b + 6 = 3a + 18

b - 3a = 18 -6

b - 3a = 12  ..................(1)

before 3years

son's age = a - 3

Father's age = 9(a -3)

b - 3 = 9a - 27

9a - b = 27 - 3

9a - b = 24  .....................(2)

(1) + (2)

b - 3a + 9a - b = 12 + 24

6a = 36

a = 6

b - 3a = 12

b = 12 + 18 = 30

Son's present age = 6years

Father's present age = 30years
