Solution :-

3x^2.+ 2kx - 3 = 0

Here, Solution of the equation that is x = -1/2

Subsitute the value of x in given equation,

3( -1/2)^2.+ 2k( -1/2) - 3 = 0

3 * 1/4 - 2k - 3 = 0

3/4 - 2k - 3 = 0

-2k - 3 = -3/4

-2k = -3/4 + 3

-2k = -3 + 12/4

-2k = 9/4

k = 9/4/-2

k = 9 / 4 * (-2)

k = 9/-8

k = -9/8

Hence, The value of K is -9/8 .
