Answer: 120km/hr

Step-by-step explanation:

The initial speed of the train is = 100km/hr

                                                   = 100×1000/3600 m/s

                                                   = 250/9 m/s

The train crosses in 18 minutes = 18×60×250/9 m

                                                    = 30000 m

so, the distance between station and train is = 30000 m

If,the train wants to reach the in 15 minutes so the speed of the train will be

= 30000/(15×60) m/s

= 2000/60 m/s

= 100/3 m/s

The final velocity of the train is  = 100/3 m/s

                                                     = 100/3×3600 m/hr

                                                     = 120000 m/hr

                                                     =120 km/hr
