Answer

  • x = 0 , y = 0

Given

  • 2x - 5y = 0
  • 5x + 2y = 0

To Find

  • x and y values

Solution

\rm 2x-5y=0\\\\\rm Multiplying\ with\ 5\ on\ both\ sides\ ,we\ get ,\\\\\implies \rm 5(2x-5y)=2(0)\\\\\implies \rm 10x-25y=0...(1)\\\\\rm 5x+2y=0\\\\\rm Multiplying\ with\ 2\ on\ both\ sides\ ,we\ get,\\\\\implies \rm 2(5x+2y)=2(0)\\\\\implies \rm 10x+4y=0...(2)\\\\On\ ,solving\ (2)-(1),we\ get,\\\\\rm \implies (10x+4y)-(10x-25y)=0-0\\\\\implies \rm 10x+4y-10x+25y=0\\\\\implies \rm 29y=0\\\\\implies \rm y=0

\rm On\ ,sub. y\ value\ in\ (2)\ ,we\ get,\\\\\implies \rm 10x+4(0)=0\\\\\implies \rm 10x=0\\\\\implies \rm x=0
