Time period(T): The time taken by two consecutive compressions or rarefactions to cross a fixed point is called the time period of the sound wave. Amplitude(A): The magnitude of the maximum disturbance in the medium on either side of the mean value is called the amplitude of the wave.

Wavelength= the distance between two crests and troughs of wave.

Frequency= the no. of sound waves produced in 1 second.

Time period= time period is taken to produce one wave of sound.

Amplitude = maximum displacement along the mean position of particles of medium.
