=>x^2-5x+6=0
=>x^2-5x=-6
=> x^2-5x+(5/2)^2=-6+(5/2)^2
=>{x-5/2}^2= -6+25/4
=>(x-5/2)^2=(1/2)^2
now take square root both side
=>x-5/2= +_1/2
=> x=3,2

x^2-2(x)(5/2)+(5/2)^2-(5/2)^2+6=0
(x-5/2)^2-25/4+6=0
(x-5/2)^2-1/4=0
(x-5/2)^2-(1/2)^2=0
or
(x-5/2)^2=1/4
