a  resistance of parallel series= 1\R1 + 1 \ R2

                                                  =1\10 + 1\40

                         on solving.........the resistance is 1\8

            therefore resistance is 8ohm...

    resistance in  parallel on the bottom of the series

                                         =  1\30+1\20+1\60

                   on solving

                                           = 1\10

 therefore equivalent  resistance is = 10 ohm + 8 ohm= 18 ohm.................1

b     V = 1.8 V

       R = 18 ohm

  according to ohm's law

                   V=IR

                      I =V\R

                         1.8\18 = 0.1 ampere....

HOPE IT HELPS!!!!!!!..............
