3x + 5y = - 9 \\ - (2x + 5y = - 11) \\ x = 2

substituting x is equal to 2 in equation 1

3x + 5y = - 9 \\ 3 \times 2 + 5y = - 9 \\ 6 + 5y = - 9 \\ 5y = - 9 - 6 \\ 5y = - 15 \\ y = - 3

hope it will be helpful
