Hiii friend,

1/(3X+Y) + 1/(3X-Y) = 3/4....(1)

1/2(3X+Y) +1/2(3X-Y) = -1/8..…..(2)

Let 1/(3X+Y) = U and 1/3X-Y = V.

Putting 1/(3X+Y) = U and 1/(3X-Y) = V in equation (1) and (2).

U + V = 3/4

4(U+V) = 3

4U + 4V = 3.......(3)×2

8U + 8V = 6.....(3)

And,

U/2 + V/2= -1/8

U + V = -2/8

8U + 8V = -2.......(4)

Subtracting equation (3) from equation (4)

8U + 8V = 6

8U + 8V = -2
_____________
