solve 1. 4 (m+3)=18 2. -2 (x+3)=18

here is your answer

1. 4(m+3) = 18

4m+12 = 18

4m = 6

m = 6/4 = 3/2 = 1.5

2. -2(x+3) = 18

-2x-6 = 18

-2x = 24

x = -12
