  • It is given that principal on 3000 rupees,4.5% rate of interest on 2 years time.We are said to find Simple Interest and amount.

  • Principal = 3000 rupees
  • Time = 2 years
  • Rate = 4.5%

To Find:

  • Amount = ?
  • Simple Interest = ?

Using Formula:

 \:  \:  \sf \: si =  \frac{prt}{100}

Denote Simple Interest be 'SI',Rate be 'R',Time be 'T' and Principal be'P' as given here.

Now substitute the given values

 \:  \:  \sf \: si =  \frac{3000 \times 2 \times 45}{100 \times 10}  \\  \\   \:  \:  \sf \therefore \: si = 270 \: rupees

\therefore

Hence, Simple Interest is 270 rupees.

Now find Amount

Using Formula:

 \:  \:  \sf \: amount =principal + simple \: interest

Now substitute the known values

 \:  \:  \sf \: a = 3000 + 270 \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \therefore \: a = 3270 \: rupees

\therefore

Hence, Amount is 3270 rupees.

⇢ SI = 27000/100

⇢ SI = Rs.270

Hence,

Now,

  • finding the amount in rupees.

We know that,

⇢ Amount = Principal + Simple interest

⇢ Amount = 3000 + 270

Amount = Rs.3270
