Answer:

(x-1)(x-2)(x-3)

=(x2−3x+2)(x−3)=(x2−3x+2)(x−3)

=(x3−3x2−3x2+9x+2x−6)=(x3−3x2−3x2+9x+2x−6)

=(x3−6x2+11x−6)=(x3−6x2+11x−6)

Equations can be solved, for a particular variable. This is a polynomial expression which equates nothing. Nothing is to be “solved.”

Answer:

1-x-2-(x2-9+3x2-x2-4+2x2)=2x

-1+x-5-5x=2x

-1+x-5=2x-5x

-1+x-5=-3x

-6+x=-3x

-6=-3x-x

-6=-4x

x=-4x/-6x

x=2x/3x
