3/X+2/y=3

Let 1/X=p and 1/y=q

Now,p-2q=-1...(1)

3p+2q=3..(2)

We found that in (1)and (2) -2 q and +2q

which has opposite sign .so add them

Now add eq(1) and (2)

p-2q=-1

Putting the value in eq(1)to get q value

p-2q=-1

2-2q=-1

-2q=-3

q=3/2

putting in 1/X=p and 1/y=qwe got
