The equation of the question is :-

(2 {x}^{2}  {y}^{2}  - 5x + 7) + a =  - 5 {x}^{2}  {y}^{2}  + 7x - 9

 =  >   a =  - 5 {x}^{2}  {y}^{2}  + 7x - 9 - (2 {x}^{2}  {y}^{2}  - 5x + 7)

 = >  a =  - 5 {x}^{2}  {y}^{2}  + 7x - 9 - 2 {x}^{2}  {y}^{2}   +  5x  -  7

 =  >  a  = \: - 7 {x}^{2}  {y}^{2}  + 12x  - 16
