6x-5y= 11.............2

multiply 5 in eqn 1 and multiply by 3 in eqn 2,

we get new eqn from eqn 1,

50x +15y =375.....3

and

18x -15y=33.........4

by solving that eqns we get,

add eqn 3 and 4,

50x +15y =375

+

18x -15y=33

= 68x =408

so x=6

put x=6 in eqn 2,

6x -5y=11

36-5y=11

so y= 5

Therefore x=6 and y=5
