GIVEN :

Solve 15\frac{x}{6}+18\frac{2}{3}=34\frac{1}{2} find x

TO FIND :

The value of a in the given equation.

SOLUTION :

Given equation is 15\frac{x}{6}+18\frac{2}{3}=34\frac{1}{2}

Solving the given equation as below :

15\frac{x}{6}+18\frac{2}{3}=34\frac{1}{2}

Converting the mixed fraction into proper fraction we get that,

\frac{90+x}{6}+\frac{56}{3}=\frac{69}{2}

\frac{90+x+112}{6}=\frac{69}{2}

\frac{202+x}{6}=\frac{69}{2}

2(202+x)=6(69)

202+x=3(69)

202 + x = 207

x = 207-202

x = 5

∴ the value of x in the given equation is 5
