2+3=2(2)+3(3)=4+9=13
3+4=3(3)+4(4)=9+16=25
4+5=4(4)+5(5)=16+25=41
5+6=5(5)+6(6)=25+36=61

in this series the numbers are squared and then added
2^2+3^2=4+=13
3^2+4^2=9+16=25
4^2+5^2=16+25=41
therefore,5^2+6^2=25+36=61
