2/(-3) = 4*x+(4/2)*x+14 // - 4*x+(4/2)*x+14

2/(-3)-(4*x)-((4/2)*x)-14 = 0

2/(-3)-4*x-2*x-14 = 0

-6*x-44/3 = 0 // + 44/3

-6*x = 44/3 // : -6

x = 44/3/(-6)

x = -22/9

x = -22/9

Answer:

Given, 2x−1=14−x.

Transpose x terms to one side and constant terms to the other side, we get,

⇒ 2x+x=14+1

⇒3x=15.

Divide 3 from both sides,we get,

3

3x

=

3

15

⇒x=5.
