Solve 2/3 (x-5) - 1/4 (x-2) = 13/6

Answer:

 \frac{2}{3}(x-5)-\frac{1}{4}(x - 2) =\frac{13}{6}

 =>\frac{2x - 10}{3}  -  \frac{x - 2}{4}=\frac{13}{6}

 =>  \frac{4(2x - 10) - 3(x - 2)}{12}  =  \frac{13}{6}

 =  >  \frac{8x - 40 - 3x + 6}{12}  =  \frac{13}{6}

 =  >  \frac{5x - 34}{12}  =  \frac{13}{6}

 =  > 5x - 34 =  \frac{12 \times 13}{6}

 =  > 5x - 34 =2 \times 13

 =  > 5x = 26 + 34

 =  > 5x = 60

 =  > x =  \frac{60}{5}

 =  > x = 12

In the last process we did cross multiplication, then we got the values of reaction to find its simplest form.
