2(3x + 1) - 5x =  \frac{7}{2}  - 2(2x + 7) \\ 6x + 2 - 5x =  \frac{7}{2}  - 4x - 14 \\ 6x - 5x + 4x =  \frac{7}{2}  - 14 - 2 \\ 15x =  \frac{7 - 32}{2}  \\ 15x =  \frac{ - 25}{2}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 25}{2 \times 15}  \\ x =  \frac{ - 5}{6}

6x+2-5x=7/2-4x-14

6x-5x+4x=7/2-14-2

15x=7-32/2

15x=-25/2

x=-25/2x15

x=-5/6
