 \frac{x}{2}  +  \frac{6}{7}  =  \frac{x}{3}  -  \frac{1}{7}

 \frac{x}{2}  -  \frac{x}{3}  =    - \frac{ 1}{7}   -  \frac{6}{7}

 \frac{3x}{6}  -  \frac{2x}{6}  =   - \frac{1}{7}  -  \frac{6}{7}

 \frac{x}{6}  =  -  \frac{7}{7}

7x  =  - 42

x =  - 6
