Given:

2 into 2 x minus one upon X + 3 - 3 into X + 3 upon 2 x minus 1 is equal to 5

To Find:

Solve for x

Solution:

We will convert the given statement into equation

2 into 2 x minus one upon X = 2×2x - 1/3

                                                = 4x-1/3

3 - 3 into X = 3-3x

3 upon 2 x minus 1 = (3/2x)-1

So,

The equation is

4x-1/3 + 3-3x + 3/(2x)-1 = 5

4x-3x -1/3 + 3 +3/(2x)-1 = 5

x+8/3 -5 + 3/(2x)-1  = 0

x +(8-15)/3 + 3/(2x)-1 = 0

x+3/(2x)-1 - 7/3 =0

6x² -20x +9=0

On solving the quadratic equation we get,

x = (10±√46)/6

Hence, the value of x = (10±√46)/6
