Given: The equation is2(t+3)/3=3t-8/2.

We have to solve the above equation.

  • By using the concept of equation shifting, we are solving the above equation.
  • For this, we will separate the variables on one side and the constant on another side.
  • Then we will simplify the equation.

We are solving in the following way:

We have,

The equation is2(t+3)/3=3t-8/2.

=>\frac{2t+6}{3} =\frac{3t-8}{2} \\\\=>2(2t+6)=3(3t-8)\\\\=>4t+12=9t-24\\=>4t-9t=-24-12\\=>-5t=-36\\\\=>t=\frac{-36}{-5} \\\\=>t=\frac{36}{5}

Solving the above equation further we get,

=>7.2

Hence, the solution of the above equation is\frac{36}{5} \ or\ 7.2.

Answer :

2t + 6 / 3 = 3t - 8 / 2

2 ( 2t + 6 ) = 3 ( 3t - 8 )

4t + 12 = 9t - 24

4t - 9t = -24 - 12

-5t = -36

t = -36 / -5

t = 36 /5
