Required

a=?

given

y=ax-4

2/x + 2/3y = 1

2/x + ( 2/y ) * 1/3 = 1 --> A)

3/x + 2/y = 0  -->B)

2/y = - 3/ x -->C)

Put  equation C) in equation A)

2/x-3/x*1/3=1

2/x-1/x=1

1/x=1

x=1

put x=1 in equation C)

2/y = - 3/ x -->C)

2/y=-3

y=-0.66

put x=1  and y=-0.66, in y=ax-4

-0.66=a-4

a=4-0.66

a=3.33

the value of a is 0.33
