Solve 20-10+30*10Mohan had several cookies. After eating one, he gave half the remainder to his sister. After eating another cookie, he gave half of what was left to his brother. Mohan now had only five cookies left. How many cookies did he start with?

Now he has left only 5 cookies

It's equal to half of the cookies she gave her brother

5+5 = 10

(ate one cookie) = 10 + 1 = 11

It's equal to half of the cookies she gave her sister

11 + 11 = 22

(ate one cookie) = 22 + 1 = 23

So total cookies = 23
