Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

25a + 33b = 8 .... 1

40a + 77b = 15 ....2

Now , lcm of 40 and 25 is 200 .

so, multiplying eq 1 by 8 and eq 2 by 5 ,

we get ,

200a + 264b = 64 ....3

200a + 385b = 75....4

now , subtracting eq 3 from eq 4 , we get ,

121b = 11

b = 11/121

b =1/11

put value of b in eq 2

40a + 7=15

40 a =8

a=1/5

Thus,  a=1/5, b= 1/11

hope it helps ...
