 \bold{ \frac{2x + 1}{3x - 5}  = 0}

By cross multiplication,

 \bold{2x + 1 = 0}

\bold{⟹2x + 1 = 0}

\bold{⟹2x =  - 1}

\bold{⟹x =  \frac{ - 1}{2} }
