your answer is

2x-10y=-20 .....equation (1)

-x+4y=28 ......equation (2)

multiply equation (2) by 2

we get ...

-2x+8y=56 ....equation (3)

now adding equation (1) and (3) we get

2x-10y=-20

+ -2x+8y=56

____________

-2y=36

y = -18

hence substituting y=-18 in equation (1)

we get

2x-10(-18)=-20

2x+180=-20

2×=-200

x=-100

hence we get x=-100 and y =-18
