Answer:

2x² + 5x + 1 = 0

By quadratic formula

coefficient of x² be a

coefficient of x be b

constant be c

then ,

x1 =   \frac{ - b +  \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a}

x2 =  \frac{ - b -  \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a}

x1 =  \frac{ - 5 +  \sqrt{ {5}^{2} - 4(2 \times 1) } }{(2 \times 2)}

x1 =  \frac{ - 5 +  \sqrt{17} }{4}

x2 =  \frac{ - 5 -  \sqrt{ {5}^{2} - 4(2 \times 1) } }{2 \times 2}

x2 =  \frac{ - 5 -  \sqrt{17} }{4}

x1 and x2 are the two roots of the given quadratic equation.

hope it helps
