Step-by-step explanation:

we have 2x+3y=1 ---------------------------(i)

2x-4y=-24------------------------------(ii)

subtracting eq. (ii) from eq.(i) we get;

3y+4y =25

=> 7y=25

=> y = 25/7

=> 2x+(3×25)/7=1 (from eq(i))

=> 2x = 1-125/7

=> 2x = (7-125)/7

=> 2x = -118/7

=> x = -118/14

=> x = -59/7

here, m=y-2x

=> m = (25+118)/7

=> m= 143/7
