solve 2x+3y=11 and 2x-4y=-24 and hence find the value of m for which u=mx+3​

Here,

2x+3y=11 _____(1)

2x-4y=-24 ____(2)

By elimination method,

(1) -(2)

7y=35

y=5

so,

x =  \frac{11 - 3y}{2}

x=11-15/2

x=-2

and given is y=mx+3

so, 5=-2m+3

=>2=-2m

=>m=-1

Hence, the value of m is-1.
