2x-4y=-24. (2)

subtracting both equations:-

we will get 7y=35

y=5

put value of y in equation (1)

2x+3(5)=11

2x=11-15

x=-2

put value of x and y in :-

y=MX+3

5=M(-2)+3

-2M=5-3

M=(2/(-2))

M=-1
