Step-by-step explanation:

2x+3y =11--------- (i)

2x-4y=-24 ----- ----- (ii)

subtracting equation (i) from lii)

We get,

2x-4y-2x-3y= -24-11

» -7y= -35

»y= -35/-7

=>y=5

so, y=5

Now,

calculate the value of X, from eq. (i)

2X +3y= 11

=> 2x = 11-3y

» 2x = 11-3X5

=> 2x = 11-15

=> 2x = -4

so, X= -2

Pultting the value of X and y in the eq.

Y=mx+3

=> 5 =m (-2) +3

=> 5 = -2m+3

=> 5-3= -2m

=> 2 = -2m

so, m = -1
