2x+3y =11... 1
2x-4y= - 24.. 2
From (1) we have 2x = 11 - 3y
Substituting 2x=11 - 3y in (2), we get
11 - 3y - 4y = - 24
-7y = - 24 - 11
-7y = - 35
Y=5
Putting y=5 in ( 1), we get
2x + 3y = 11
2 x + 3 X 5 = 11
2x =11 - 15
2x= - 4
X= - 4/2
X= - 2
Hence X= - 2 and y=5
Again putting x= - 2 and y =5 in y =MX + 3,we get
5x = m (-2) + 3
-2m = 5 - 3
M = - 1

Answer:
M=-3/7
Explanation:
2X+3Y=11
Y=11-2x/3 -(eq 1)
2x-4y=-24
y=2x+24/4 -(eq 2)
since, eq(1)=eq(2)
11-2X/3=2x+24/4
44-4x=6x+72
10x=28 X=14/5
y=11-28/5/3=27/15
given y=Mx+3
27/15=14m/5+3
27/15=14m+15/5
27/3=14m+15
14m=-18/3
M=-6/14 =-3/7
