\Large{\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\:to\:the\:Question}}}}

Given,

2x + 3y = 11 ............ (1)

2x - 4y = - 24 ........... (2)

Now here,

Subtracting Equation (1) from (2)

(2x + 3y) - (2x - 4y) = 11 - (-24)

2x + 3y - 2y + 4y = 11 + 25

7y = 35

\tt{\rightarrow y=\dfrac{35}{7}}

= 5

{\boxed{\sf\:{Putting\;the\;value\;of\;y\;in\;(1)}}}

2x + 3y = 11

2x + 3(5) = 11

2x = 11 - 15

\tt{\rightarrow x=\dfrac{-4}{2}}

x = - 2

Therefore,

y = mx + 3

5 = m(-2) + 3

5 - 3 = - 2m

\tt{\rightarrow\dfrac{2}{-2}=m}

m = -1

\Large{\boxed{\sf\:{Hence,\;m=-1}}}
