2x+3y=11
2x=11-3y
put this value of 2x in next equation
(11-3y)-4y=24
11-3y-4y=24
11-7y=24
-7y = 24-11
-7y = 13
y = -13/7

then, 2x = 11-(3×-13/7)
2x = 11+39/7
2x = 116/7
x=58/7

y=mx+3
-13/7=58/7m+3
58/7m= -13/7-3
58/7m = -34/7
m = -34/58
m= -17/29
