Step-by-step explanation:

2x +3y =11. (1)

x- 2y= -12. (2)

multiply (2) by 2 we get

2x-4y = -24. (3)

subtract(3) from (1)

7y= 25

y=5

put y=5 in (1)

2x + 15= 11

2x= 11-15

2x= -4

X= -2

put the value of X and y in y = mx+3

5= m×(-2) +3

5-3= -2m

2= -2m

2/-2= m

-1 = m or

m = -1
