solve 2x+3y=11and 2x-4y=-24and hence find the value of,m, for which y=mx+3

2x + 3y = 11 --------(1)

2x - 4y = -24 ------(2)

from equation (1) - (2)

7y = 35

y = 5

2x = 11 - 3(5) = 11 - 15

2x = -4

x = -2

Now ,

y = mx + 3

5 = -2m + 3

2m = -2

m = -1
