x = 13 + 3y / 2

put the value of x in eq. 2

7x - 2y = 20

7(13 + 3y \ 2 ) - 2y = 20

91 /2 + 21y \2- 2 y =20

21y - 4y \2 =20 -91\2

17y\2 = 40 - 91 \2

17y =-51

y = -3

put the value of y in eq.3

x = 13 - 9\ 2

x = 2
