5x - 2y = 16​............................. eq 2

to find

value of x and y

solving method used elimination method

i am eliminating y here

2x + 3y = -5......................eq 1 *(2)

5x - 2y = 16​............................. eq 2  *(3)

after multiplication

4x+6y= - 10

15x-6y=  48

19x = 38

x = 38/19

x=2

2x + 3y = -5

2*2+3y= -5

4+5= -3y

9= -3y

9/-3=y

y=  -3
