Answer:

x+y= 1. -(I)

=> x = 1-y

2x-3y = 6. -(ii)

8

Applying the value of x in eqn. (ii)

2(1 - y) - 3y = 6

=> 2 - 2y - 3y = 6

=> -5y = 6 - 2

=> y = -4/5

Now, applying the value of y in eqn. (I),

x + (-4/5) = 1

=> x = 1 + 4/5

=> x = (5+4)/5

=> x = 9/5

Therefore, x = -4/5

And, y = 9/5

2x-3y = 6________(1)

x +y = 1_________(2)

(2) *2 =) 2x+2y =2 _____(3)

2x-3y =6______(1)

__________________________

(3)-(1)=) 5y = -4

=) y= -4/5

sub.y= -4/5 in (2)

=) x -4/5 =1

=) x = 1+ 4/5

=) x=5+4 /5

=) x=9/5

therefore

x = 9/5 , y = -4/5
