Step-by-step explanation:

2x-3y=6 ---------(1)

x+y=1 ----------- (2)

multiplying eq. (2) by 3 , we get ,

3x+3y=3 -----------(3)

Solving Eq. (1) & (3) sim , we get ,

2x-3y=6

+ 3x+3y=3

5x=9 [ (1) + (2) ]

x=9/5

Substituting x=9/5 in eq (2) , we get ,

x+y=1

9/5+y=1

y=1-9/5

y=5-9/5

y=-4

(x,y) = (9/5 , -4)
