Step-by-step explanation:

2x+3y=11..... (1)

2x-4y=-24..... (2)

solve 1 and 2 by elimination method

2x+3y=11

2x-4y=-24

- + + (by changing symbols 2x is cut)

7y=35

y=35÷7=5

put value of y in 1

2x+3 (5)=11

2x+15=11

2x=11-15

2x=-4

x=-4÷2=-2

x=-2 and y=5

y =mx+3

5=-2m+3

5-3=-2m

2=-2m

2÷(-2)=m

-1=m
