Hey!!!!

Good Morning

_________

We Have

=> 2x + 5y = 12-----(1)

and

=> 3x - y = 1
=> y = 3x - 1 ------(2)

Substituting (2) in (1)

=> 2x + 5(3x - 1) = 12

=> 2x + 15x - 5 = 12

=> 17x = 17

=> x = 1

Using x in (2)

=> y = 3x - 1

=> y = 2

____________

Hope this helps ✌️
