2x²+x+4=0
x²+x/2+4/2=0
x²+x/2=-2
add (b/2a)²
x²+x/2+(1/4)²=-2+(1/4)²
x²+2*x*1/4+(1/4)²=-2/1+(1/4)2
(x+1/4)²=-2/1+1/8
(x+1/4)²=-16+1/8
(x+1/4)²=-15/8
x+1/4=√15/8
