Answer:

since

2x-y = 1

y= 2x-1 ........(1)

putting y value in 2nd equation

4x + 3 (2x-1) =27

4x +6x -3 = 27

10x = 30

x = 3

putting x = 3 in (1)

y = 2(3) - 1

y = 6-l

y = 5

Answer:

2x-y = 1 -------------------1

4x+3y = 27. ------------- 2

Explanation:

multiply equation 1 by 2 so,

=> 2×2x -2y = 2

=> 4x-2y = 2

so we are now going to solve it by elimination method but be sure that in the two equation any of the variable are equal.

=>4x+3y=27

4x-2y = 2

(-). (+). = (-)

--------------

0. + 5y = 25

------------------

so, y= 5

now substitute y= 5 in 1 equation

2x - 5 = 1

=> 2x = 6

=> x= 3

so x= 3 and y = 5
