  • Solve:2x-y+3=0
  • 3x-5y+1=0

\large\boxed{\textsf{\textbf{\red{Answer \::-}}}}

2x - y =  - 3....(1)

3x - 5y =  - 1....(2)

Multiply (1) by 5

10 - 5 =  - 15....(3)

subtract (3) and (2)

10x - 5y =  - 15

3x - 5y =  - 1

7x =  - 14

x =  - 2

plugging in x = -2 in (1) we get

 - 4 - y = 3

 - y = 1

y =  - 1

so,

x =  - 2 \\ y =  - 1
