2x - y = 3

x = 3 + y \div 2

incert in

4x + y = 3

4( \frac{3 + y}{2} ) + y = 3

 \frac{12 + 4y}{2}  + y = 3

 \frac{12 + 4y + 2y}{2}  = 3

 \frac{12 + 6y}{2}  = 3

12 + 6y = 3 \times 2

12 + 6y = 6

6y  = 6 - 12

6y =  - 6

y  =  - 1

and x is 1
