So,

So,

-4x + 3x = -10 + 8

-x = -2

x = 2

Now substitute x value in of the equation to get y value i.e

3(2) + 2y = 8

6 + 2y = 8

2y = 8-6

2y = 2

y = 2/2

y = 1

Therefore x = 2 and y = 1.
