solve 2x+y-6=0 and 2x-y+2=0​

2x + y = 6 -- (1)

2x - y = - 2 -- (2)

Cancelling + y and - y

So , 4x = 4

x = 4/4

x = 1

Substituting x = 1 in equ.(1)

2 x 1 + y = 6

y = 6 - 2

y = 4

Thus , the values of x and y are 1 and 4 .
